"Experience Wild", a trail model of the "Experience" series, which appeared as a spring / summer model in 2024, adopted the first 4mm drop in the trail category. This model has appeared as a transition period (transition) shoe like the Road series model.

Why a 4mm drop?

I will explain why Altra decided to release a drop model. Until now, all models of Altra used a balance cushion (0mm drop), but in general, people wearing nearly 10mm drop shoes feel uncomfortable with suddenly wearing 0mm drop shoes. Because there were many. In order to deal with this issue, Altra adopted a 4mm drop close to a natural state and developed it as a transition shoe before getting used to a balance cushion (0 mm drop).

Characteristics and performance

Altra's familiar "FootShape" design remains the same, and the midsole uses EVA material to achieve flexibility and light weight. In addition, it has a lower dropability compared to other companies' products and adopts a locker shape to achieve efficient tooff and smooth stride.

Furthermore, regarding the functionality of this model, in addition to the modest rug pattern compared to other models, the rolling shape adopted with road shoes is incorporated, and it corresponds to changes in the road surface environment from trail to loading, and joints. The burden on is reduced. You will be able to enjoy both paved and trails wearing almighty "Experience Wild".

Sense of size

Because it has the same Standard foot shape as AltraPload Experience, there is almost no problem with the same size.
