Inner Fact 5 Finger Socks (short)

Inner Fact uses hemp fibers known as ramie for the woven material. Ramie is the most durable among natural fiber, combining a high level of dryness, and it enhanced durability making it an ideal material for socks that absorb sweat inside shoes year-round. The five-finger type of sock provides the most noticeable dryness and ensures comfort without feeling cramped due to secure toe lengths. Furthermore, we believe ramie is an optimal material for sports like trail running, adventure races, and ultra marathons, where there's a high chance of getting wet due to weather or environmental conditions. We deliberately excluded functionalities like anti-slip and compression, focusing instead on a simple sock design that aims to alleviate troubles and stresses on the athlete's feet.

⚫︎ The folded part around the ankle is turned outward, making the inside flat. By bringing the irregularities of the folded part around the ankle to the outside, the surface that comes into contact with the skin is flat. In events like ultra marathons, trail running, and adventure races, where distances can reach several hundred kilometers, and competition times often span multiple days, placing the irregularities of the fold on the outside helps reduce abrasions, even when worn for long periods.

⚫︎ We emphasize a snug fit around the toes. If the fabric around the toe section is too short, it can create tension at the tip, making it more susceptible to tearing and potentially causing toe floating, which compromises the body's stability. Additionally, if the fabric doesn't reach the base of the toes, sweat and water can accumulate due to surface tension in the gaps, leading to wrinkles and potential troubles like chafing and blisters.

⚫︎ Length that doesn't interfere with shoes. If the length is too short, it can cause the foot to rub against the shoe, leading to wear and tear. A gap may also form between the ankle and the sock, allowing small stones to enter. By concealing the ankle and keeping the length not too long, you'll feel less stressed.
