SILVA Silva Trail Runner Free 2

This is the basic version of the Trail Runner Free 2 series and can be used with 3 AAA batteries (sold separately) and a hybrid battery case.The power cord is built into the headband. Comfortable headlamp with no cords or tangled wires to get in the way.

If you don't run every day, but long burn times are important to you, the Trail Runner Free 2 is a great choice.This model is powered by three AAA batteries, but is also compatible with rechargeable 1.25 Ah hybrid batteries thanks to its versatile hybrid battery case.

Hybrid battery case included
Can be powered by either AAA batteries or rechargeable Silva hybrid battery packs. This allows for a free upgrade if you wish to supplement your headlamp with a rechargeable battery. The battery case has an easy-to-grip surface and features an integrated red rear safety light for added visibility and safety.

Customized light distribution
In the second generation Trail Runner Free, cooling has been optimized with a more powerful cooler, allowing the lamp to produce up to 500 lumens (depending on battery type) while maintaining comfort and light weight. Our ultra runners are an important part of our design process, and every aspect of the Trail Runner Free 2 series is built for running. All three headlamps in this series feature Silva Intelligent Light. The headlamps feature Double Light Beam technology and have light settings optimized for running. Our unique combination of a long reach spotlight and a nearby floodlight reduces head movement, improves control, improves balance, reduces fatigue, and increases speed.

Comfort in Every Detail
Every part of the headlamp is compressed and the headlamp unit weighs only 61 grams (excluding batteries). The headlamp is perfectly balanced, with smooth adjustments and a tangle-free, flat, soft fiber extension cord. The headband is soft but firm enough and has a silicone cord inside to prevent shifting. The battery can be carried comfortably on the headband or kept warm in your pocket with the included textile extension cord, saving battery life.
