SILVA Silva Trail Runner Free 2 Hybrid

This is the basic version of the Trail Runner Free 2 series and can be used with 3 AAA batteries (sold separately) and a hybrid battery case.The power cord is built into the headband. Comfortable headlamp with no cords or tangled wires to get in the way.

For regular use of the headlamp during training sessions, the Trail Runner Free 2 Hybrid with Hybrid Battery Case and Silva's rechargeable hybrid battery.If you plan to be on the road for a few days and don't have a chance to recharge the battery during that time, you can always refill it with three AAA batteries.

Hybrid battery and case included.
You can use either Silva's rechargeable hybrid battery or AAA batteries. The case surface is easy to grip and incorporates a red safety light for added visibility. Hybrid Battery The case comes with a rechargeable 1.25Ah hybrid battery developed for use with the case. This compact battery is ideal if you really want to bet on being lightweight. The battery has a built-in battery indicator and can be charged via the included USB cable.

The second generation Trail Runner Free uses a more powerful cooler to optimize cooling, allowing the lamp to deliver up to 500 lumens (depending on battery type) while maintaining flexibility. This means that the headlamp has two light sources, providing both a strong light in the long run and a softer, more comfortable light when you put your foot down. This gives you a more comprehensive light image and less head movement when running, allowing you to concentrate on your running; with Silva Intelligent Light you also reduce the risk of fatigue and tension headaches caused by shaky light images.

The Trail Runner Free series is best known for its innovation with Free Technology, but it has not forgotten the most basic weight and ergonomic fit. Every component of the headlamp has been optimized, and the lamp unit itself, including the headband, weighs only 61 grams. the Trail Runner Free 2 is lightweight and well balanced, with smooth adjustment options and a flat, soft, tangle-free extension cable. The headband is soft, but not overly flexible. The headband is soft but stays in place thanks to a thin silicone cord inside the headband. The battery can be easily attached to the headband or kept warm in your pocket with the included extension cable to maximize battery life.
