When trail running or fastpacking in winter, you want to reduce the number of times you have to put on and take off your jacket as much as possible and still keep moving comfortably. Active Insulation" is a garment that satisfies such needs.

The pattern has been adjusted so that the hood hides all but the eyes and can be used like a balaclava. Thumbholes, watch windows, double zippers, and all the other features necessary for winter running are included.

The main material is Polartec Alpha® (active insulation that combines warmth and breathability), which keeps the body moderately warm and comfortable, while grid fleece is used on the abdomen, wrists, and other parts of the body where you don't want to get cold.
